From July 26 to August 11, 2024, Saudi Arabia is slated to compete in the Summer Olympics in Paris. With the exception of 1980 in Moscow as part of the boycott led by the United States, this will be the country’s thirteenth appearance in the Summer Olympics.

Equestrian:
At the International Equestrian Federation (FEI)-designated Olympic qualifier for Group F (Africa and Middle East) in Doha, Qatar, Saudi Arabia won the first of two team spots available, allowing them to field a squad of four jumping riders in the Olympic equestrian competition for the first time since 2012.[3] According to reports as of October 2023, the monarchy was prepared to pay hefty sums of money to secure the greatest horses in the world for the race.

Saudi Arabia qualified one athlete to compete in the games for the first time since 2000. Dunya Abutaleb won her class’s semifinals at the 2024 Asian Qualification Tournament in Tai’an, China, to become the first female taekwondo competitor in the history of the country.
